7. Photo-taking Competition
   
 
Objective
Students are encouraged to reflect on integrity in society through taking creative photos.
Target group
All students (students can be divided into junior and senior secondary groups)
Brief description
On the theme of ‘A Clean Society – Hong Kong is Our Home’, students are encouraged to contemplate the importance of a clean Hong Kong through their creative photographic works carrying probity messages.
Duties of iTeen Leaders
Pre-activity period:
Promote the activity in schools, e.g. give a brief introduction to their fellow schoolmates during the morning assembly or form teacher period, design posters, produce videos, etc.
Coordinate work relating to the competition, e.g. lay down the competition rules and the artwork requirements.
   
Activity period:
Assist their teachers to collect and deal with the students’ works, e.g. set up a group on a social networking site for collecting students’ works, assisting teachers to short-list the artworks for final round adjudication, etc.
Invite the principal or teachers to act as the adjudicators and/or encourage students to select the winning entries through online voting.
   
Post-activity period:
Assist their teachers to print and distribute certificates of merit to the winners.
Organise an in-house exhibition of the winning entries.
